Q Light Ginger Beer has a strong ginger punch and is very spicy. That’s because we use real ginger, and lots of it. Watch out.

CHILI PEPPERS

Chili peppers add an extra kick to Q Light Ginger Beer, particularly at the front of the palate.

CORIANDER AND CARDAMOM

For depth and complexity – the coriander adds warm, nutty, and spicy notes while the cardamom delivers an aromatic, resinous fragrance.

Lime

To prevent scurvy British sailors were given a daily ration of limes, earning them the nickname “Limeys.” Such drastic measures aren’t needed these days. But limes do give Q Light Ginger Beer a nice subtle top note.

Extra Carbonation

A drink stays fizzier longer when it starts with more carbonation. So we use a custom, thicker glass bottle that enables us to craft Q Light Ginger Beer with more carbonation – 4.0 gas volumes to be precise.

Skinny Mule

Ingredients
  • 1.5 oz Premium Vodka

  • 5 oz Q Light Ginger Beer

  • Half a lime

Variations

Because Q Light Ginger Beer is less sweet than other ginger beers, it leaves more room to add a special flair. Try adding fresh juice (watermelon is great!) or a dash of bitters for some more complexity.

Method

Fill a highball glass or copper mug with ice. Pour in the vodka and squeeze in the lime, leaving the lime shell in the glass. Then pour in the Q Light Ginger Beer, and gently stir. Wow – spicy, bubbly, and clean – and with fewer calories.

Ingredients
  • 2 oz Reposado Tequila

  • 5 oz Q Light Ginger Beer

  • 2 Dashes orange bitters

Variations

Dehydrate citrus garnishes so they stay aromatic for longer.

Method

Fill a collins glass with ice. Pour in the tequila and squeeze in a lime wedge and add bitters. Then pour in the Q Ginger Beer. Gently stir and garnish with an orange slice and sage leaves. Recipe from @the.Cocktail.bandit
