Indian Tonic Water

Q Indian Tonic Water

Purpose-built to mix with London Dry gins. More bitter and a little sweeter than our original Q Tonic Water but with all the extra carbonation, Q Indian Tonic is crafted to complement the strongest, most juniper-forward gins.

Ingredients

Quinine

Quinine comes from the bark of the Cinchona tree. Or at least it used to, back when the gin & tonic was invented. We’ve returned to the original essence of tonic water with quinine from Cinchona bark grown in its native habitat, the slopes of the Peruvian Andes.

Extra carbonation

A drink stays fizzier longer when it starts with more carbonation. So we use a custom, thicker glass bottle that enables us to use 4.3 gas volumes of carbonation.

London Dry Gin and Tonic

Ingredients
  • 2 oz. London Dry Gin

  • 6 oz. Indian Tonic Water

  • Two lime wedges

Variations

Have some fun. Swap in a different garnish, maybe a grapefruit, cucumber, or lime twist. Or muddle in a fresh herb, thyme can be great. Or even add an ounce of liqueur, something like pamplemousse or an elderflower.

Method

Using a highball glass or a Spanish-style balloon glass, add the ice, then pour over your favorite London Dry gin. Squeeze in a lime wedge. Then pour in the Q Indian Tonic Water (from a fresh bottle). Gently stir and garnish with a lime wedge. Smell. Sip. And enjoy.
